- daniel: this is exactly what i love about our culture, btw. he's not good looking so they can't figure out why anyone would date him. in other words- according to entertainment "journalism"- if you aren't pretty you have no value as a person whatsoever
- especially since pretty is a trait that lasts forever. it certainlty doesn't fade at all. god forbid you have a personality or can tell a joke or anything. i guess being the most gifted lyricist of a generation doesn't come close to making teenagers cream their panties with your smile.
- so when everyone bitches about how music sucks now and art in general has lost all of its importance in our society- just remember that what you can do means little compared to the image youre selling. which, as i have said before, is all david bowie's fault.
